Located in Laval, "l'atelier de couture école Textil'Art" is an organization that promotes the integration of immigrant women into the job market by offering them ongoing support, sewing training and multiple work opportunities.

These include paid vocational training in industrial sewing, before gaining experience with real customers. This opportunity enables vulnerable women not only to network and gain work experience, but also to increase their sense of belonging to society and their self-confidence.

The mission of the Textil'Art workshop is to enable people excluded from the job market, including immigrants seeking their first work experience in Quebec, to develop or update attitudes (savoir-être) and skills (savoir-faire) that will help them regain an active place in the world of work.
